Every now and again, I’ll be taking a snap of the most stylish St Albanite/s that I come across.
For a moment the Bakehouse melted away and I was walking through a Patisserie in Paris. Only in Paris would you find two women, huddled together over coffee, decked to the nines and oozing glamour in the daytime.
These two beautiful sisters embrace the very essence of personal style. Their style is evocative of decadent and eccentric Parisian glamour.
I fell in love with this pair when they told me that they had got all dressed up because one sister needed cheering up. For me, they captured the heart of what fashion is all about. It should be fun because if you strip it all back, it is literally just a love for dressing up. Just as you did when you were younger.
And, personal style is wearing something that makes you feel good. It should make you feel like the very best version of yourself, just as these ladies have shown us.
This glamorous pair were head to toe in black and white, layering knitwear and lace textures. They were adorned with corsages and Chanel’s signature volume of pearls. Their neat 1920’s bobs and splash of red lippy topped of their look to perfection.
I had to pop these ladies in Black and White, as for me they had stepped straight out of one of those beautiful iconic prints we love so much.
Their look is confident and bold showing what it is to be sensational in your sixties.
Chanel herself said, ‘Fashion fades, but style remains.’ Too true Mademoiselle Chanel, too true.
(I dedicate this piece to my beautiful little sister, who has been trapped at her desk for days but would much rather being playing dress up! Here’s to you my dressing up buddy xx)
